Taking advantage of the best vibes that Christmas times bring, Cory Industry has gathered all employees into a noble action: doing good!

On December 14th, Arceburgos’ (MG) unit collaborators, in a partnership with Alfenas’ Santa Casa’s Blood Donation Center have organized blood donations as well as clothing and hygiene products donations. Arceburgo’s City Hall has offered transportation to the Blood Donation Center people from Alfenas to Arceburgo and to Cory’s collaborators to the Donation place at the São Sebastião’s Health Institution.

In addition, on December 17th, it was the turn of Cory’s Headquarters collaborators in Ribeirão Preto – SP to fill their hearts with solidarity. In a partnership with Hemocentro (Ribeirão Preto’s Blood Donation Center), which is responsible for supplying blood to 140 cities around it, Cory organized a big group to meet up at the Blood Donation place. At the same time, another group of employees went to CETREN (Screening and Routing Center for Homeless and Migrant People) and made the people there happy for a day. The event had clothing and shoes donation, snacks and soda distribution and a fun bingo to end up the afternoon in a fun way.

More than 170 blood bags were donated and those have saved more than 500 lives and more than 1.500 pieces of clothing were donated to CETREN inmates.
